Convocatoria para intercambio académico en las Universidades Canadienses de grupo CALAREO Becas ELAP
La oficina de Internacionalización tiene el gusto de compartir la siguiente convocatoria:
Becas del Gobierno de Canadá ELAP y a través de la Alianza CALAREO para realizar una pasantía investigativa o semestre académico en alguna de las siguientes universidades:
* UG=Undergraduate
*GR = Graduate (Master’s, PhD) Research students are responsible for finding their own research supervisor

- Explains the nature of studies or research to be undertaken
- Provides rationale for study in Canada and for the choice of institution, program and supervisor and how the proposed program of study or research will relate to their future career

- Letter of proof of full-time enrolment from the home institution ( se solicita en admisiones)
- Letter of invitation from the Canadian supervisor (graduate students only, maximum one page)

- On official letterhead
- Dated within the last six months
- Signed by the Canadian supervisor
- Describes the nature and scope of the research collaboration with the student’s home institution
- Confirms their willingness to support and mentor the candidate during the exchange period

- Explains how the Canadian institution, supervisor and peers will benefit from the exchange
Fecha Limite: 17 de febrero
La beca ELAP otorga:
- 8,200 CAD para estudiantes universitarios, de pregrado o posgrado (maestría y doctorado) por un mínimo de cuatro meses o un período académico de estudio o investigación; o
- CAD 11,100 para estudiantes de posgrado (maestría y doctorado) por un período de cinco a seis meses de estudio o investigación.
IMPORTANTE:
En su mayoría, las becas son para investigación, por lo que las aplicaciones dependen de la habilidad de encontrar tutores s en las universidades y de proponer un proyecto de investigación.
Recomendaciones para encontrar un tutor anfitrión:
- Visite el sitio web de cada institución miembro de CALAREO para averiguar si hay un departamento académico en su área temática.
- Revise los perfiles de los investigadores y sus campos de estudio.
- Contacte el investigador con el que desea realizar su estancia. Envíele una carta de motivación que contenga su presentación general y resuma la idea de su proyecto de investigación. Anexe su CV
